If you’ve read my first article about best photo spots in Budapest, you already know how much I love this city. But honestly? Narrowing it down is always hard. As a Budapest photographer, I don’t just look for beautiful backgrounds — I look for feeling, light, movement, and stories. These are the places I personally return to again and again. Not just because they’re among the best instagram spots Budapest offers, but because they truly feel like the prettiest places in Budapest when you experience them the right way. And now, let’s continue with my next five go-to locations.
Castle Garden
Castle Garden is one of those Budapest instagram spots that feels elegant but relaxed at the same time.I especially love it for families with kids. There’s space to run, no stressful traffic, and beautiful symmetry everywhere. Parents can breathe, kids can be playful — and that’s when the best moments happen.
It’s also one of my favorite places to recommend for anyone, who does not like to wake up early. Even later in the day, it stays noticeably less crowded than the rest of the Castle area. The Danube is also very close, and the Chain Bridge is only a few minutes walk from here. For wedding photography Budapest sessions, it’s also a great choice — romantic, timeless, and full of quiet corners most tourists miss.

2. Batthyány Square – My Go-To Parliament View
If someone asks me where to get the best close Parliament view in the city, I don’t hesitate: Batthyány Square. I am not debating that the Fisherman’s Bastion’s gorgeous view of the Parlament is breathtaking especially during sunrise, but if you are looking for a closer view, morning or night - this location will not disappoint.
No matter if you are travelling alone or with your partner or family. It is an amazing spot! I highly recommend it!
For me, this is one of the best spots in Budapest especially if you like street style as well. So many cafes around, the famous yellow tram stops right there. And the Parliament is only one short metro stop away. For couples, I often suggest we pause here, slow down, drink a coffee by the water and creat natural, emotional frames that don’t feel posed - some lifestyle shots.
3. Vajdahunyad Castle - Best Budapest Instagram Spots
If you love romantic castles, and nature - this is the location for you! It truly feels like stepping into another world. And what I love most? The variety. In just a few minutes of walking, we get romantic castle walls, dramatic arches, soft park greenery, and reflections on the water. It is a great location for families or couples!
Because it’s right next to a huge park, I often start photoshoots a bit later here, even if there are visitors, the space spreads everyone out nicely. For engagement sessions, families, or wedding photography Budapest portraits, it gives that fairytale atmosphere without feeling overly formal. In the Fall? It might just be one of the prettiest places in Budapest.

4. Coffee Shops
Not all great spots are outside. Some of my favorite sessions include a coffee break. Budapest has beautiful cafés and instagrammable restaurants Budapest visitors adore — but what I love most is the mood.
Whether it’s a historic café like New York Café or a minimal specialty coffee shop, these spaces create lifestyle shots that feel honest and intimate. And as I am personally a coffee lover, I also know which places have the best vibe - and best quality coffee!

For personal branding sessions, couples, or even solo travelers wanting something different, cafés add storytelling. They feel less like “posing for Instagram” and more like capturing a real moment in the city. As a Budapest photographer, I often combine outdoor architecture with a cozy café stop to create variety in one session, and this is why my Photo Walk package is one of the most popular ones!
5. Liberty Bridge - Romantic Instagram Spot
Liberty Bridge has a completely different energy. It’s bold. Structured. Graphic.
The green iron lines create strong composition, and when the tram passes through, it adds movement that feels very street photography inspired. Compared to Chain Bridge, Liberty Bridge feels younger and slightly more playful. I love bringing couples here who want something iconic but a little less traditional.
Golden hour is beautiful, but I also love slightly overcast days here — the green structure pops and gives the images a cinematic feel.
Personally I LOVE this spot, it is right besides my favourite neighbourhood in Budapest, the Gellert hill and the Bartók street. This is an area which is not well known, definitely not touristy, but it is full of gorgeous architecture, cute cafes and restaurants. If you are looking for me on a random day, probably you will find me there editing somewhere.

Locations which feel romantic, modern, close to nature - so how do I choose locations for sessions?
